The Industry 4.0 innovation centre promotes the development of new technologies, placing them at the service of business talent and facilitating new investments.

The Zona Franca Consortium, in its desire to continue promoting industry and innovation in the country, is promoting the creation of a building to capitalise on Barcelona’s capacity to attract technological talent and enable the development of new companies and investments.

To this end, we have created a building, inspired by the industrial tradition of the place, which puts people and technology at the centre.

A single space, in which everything revolves around this centre, which creates and facilitates the development of knowledge and synergies between its inhabitants. A place where you have the latest technologies and the support of the best experts at your fingertips to develop new ideas. A space to innovate and lead the transformation to Industry 4.0.

Our mission as designers of the building has been to make all this happen, wrapping it with a sensitive building in accordance with these premises, designing and developing spaces and construction systems also with criteria of innovation and sustainability.

Facades that stand out for their capacity for selective protection, distinguishing the solar angle between summer and winter, with great luminosity and durability. Green, useful and energy-producing roofs. Large and flexible interior spaces.

The main aim is to generate a space where men and machines interrelate with ease. Everything is present, everything is shared. We want the sum of the parts to create a community of innovation.
